Artistri Sud is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristina Babic, our new Country Director for Vietnam!

Since joining Artistri Sud as a volunteer in the fall of 2018, Kristina Babic has positions of increasing responsibility in Vietnam, where she started as Program Coordinator.  Having been a coach in our one-year coaching program, Kristina led the needs assessment and baseline data collection in the spring and summer of 2019, when she also worked directly with two graduates to build their capacity to coordinator programs in the field.  She has served for over a year on the program development team, where she helped design improved curriculum and tools for our entrepreneurship training based on her experience as program assistant on our first program in Vietnam in 2018.  This past December, she co-trained our Leadership and Entrepreneurship boot camp, and so brings her intimate knowledge of Artistri Sud programs and values to her new role.  As Country Director, Kristina will be developing partnerships in Vietnam, managing volunteers on our Vietnam team, and is directly responsible for our operations in Vietnam.

She has a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Ethnology from the University of Belgrade.

“Joining the Artistri Sud project in Vietnam was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have the opportunity to work and exchange experiences with women from the north of Vietnam as part of an empowerment process. By inspiring leadership and developing their potential, I believe that we can definitely make a change to create a better life for them, their family and their whole community.”
